Maximo and Kylee met in the fall of 2022 in French class. Maximo thought Kylee had a cute smile, and Kylee thought he was "the most beautiful man she's ever seen." After a week-long Instagram cleanse, Maximo opened the app to find a DM from Kylee.

Before long, Maximo ended up in Chicago meeting Kylee's family before they'd gone on their first official date! When it was time to make things official, Maximo said "I love you" for the first time. Soon after, Kylee ended up flying to the Dominican Republic to meet Maximo's family before they'd been dating for a month. It was there that Kylee said "I love you" back to Maximo for the first time.

From there the rest of the year was a blur: homemade dinners, baseball games for Maximo, a trip to South Korea for Kylee, movie nights, and a whole lot of firsts for their relationship. When it was time for summer ball, the couple got their first taste of long-distance. Little did they know that summer would prepare them for the rest of the relationship, as they will be long distance from then until the day they get married! No matter where they were: Illinois, Ohio, or the Dominican Republic, they learned to take advantage of all time together.

After the most recent visit to the DR, Kylee was determined to not think about getting engaged. Little did she know, Maximo bought the ring the day before she arrived! Back in Ohio, on September 7, Maximo drove up to Ohio with ring in hand, and popped the question that received an enthusiastic "YES!" from his fiancee.

The wedding planning began almost immediately! The two cannot begin to express the joy they feel at having so many people who love them and are so excited to celebrate with everyone on May 18!

Máximo y Kylee se conocieron en el 2022 en la clase de francés. Máximo pensaba que Kylee tenía una sonrisa linda, y Kylee pensaba que él era “el hombre más lindo que había visto en su vida”. Después de una semana de descanso de Instagram, Máximo abrió la aplicación y encontró un mensaje directo de Kylee.

Gracias a sus madres, Máximo terminó en Chicago conociendo a la familia de Kylee antes de que hubieran tenido su primera cita oficial. Cuando llegó el momento de formalizar su relación, Máximo fue el primero en decir “te amo”. Naturalmente, Kylee terminó volando a la República Dominicana con su papá para conocer a la familia de Máximo antes de que hubieran cumplido un mes de noviazgo. No importa dónde estuvieran —Illinois, Ohio o la República Dominicana— aprendieron a aprovechar todo el tiempo que pasaban juntos.

Después de la visita más reciente a la República Dominicana, Kylee estaba decidida a no pensar en el anillo de compromiso.
