October 10, 2020

We went rock climbing for the first date on because I love to rock climb and was nervous about talking. We ended up having so much fun that we went walking and got food and talked around the park downtown. That's when Alex made the first move and we had our first kiss!

We dated online mostly for safety purposes after that and slowly got to know each other.

January 2021

We decided to be long distance so Alex could do an internship in California, and I could be in Florida to spend time with my father.

After I was back in Michigan for the summer I went to visit Alex in California with their best friend Andie. We all had a blast and drove back to Michigan together with all of Alex's stuff. We spent the next year working together in a summer science program and finishing up school. Alex went to Michigan State University and I was at Grand Valley State University.

August 2022

I was accepted into the doctoral audiology program at University of South Florida. Alex and I moved in together in Tampa, Florida, near my father. We got our first pet together! Basil (Basilisk Seybold-Chappell) is our pet ball python.

December 22, 2023

Alex and I proposed to each other in Michigan at Fredrick Meijer Gardens.

February 2025

Alex and I spent a little time apart so I could finish my classwork while living with my father and they could get our housing set up in Michigan while living with their parents.

May 2025

We moved to Auburn Hills, Michigan!
