When and where is the wedding taking place?

Our wedding will be held on August 10th at: 2989 CO-83 in Franktown, Colorado 80116.

What should I wear?

The dress code is Cowboy wear. We recommend attire suitable for an outdoor ceremony. It will be summer, and it will he hot. We will have plenty of water, but please dress accordingly. The reception will be shaded.

Will there be transportation provided to and from the venue?

Transportation will not be provided to/from the venue. Guests are welcome to carpool, or to use a personal vehicle.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Yes, there will be parking available onsite. When you arrive at the state park, tell the park ranger you are with the Christo/Vasquez wedding if you do not have a Colorado state parks pass.

Are children invited?

Yes, if you have children/babies, please feel welcome to bring them! There will he some alcohol at the reception, so please bear this in mind. You will be responsible for own child/ren and their actions.

What time should guests arrive?

Ceremony begins promptly at 11 am. The wedding party and immediate family will be contacted closer to Aug 10 about when to arrived for pictures before the ceremony. Everyone else, please arrive 15-20 min before the ceremony begins.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Conditionally, yes Maya, David, and the family/friends who have helped to plan the wedding have included planning for the following family/guests: -immediate family/household -guests with significant others Please indicate when you RSVP who will be attending with you. If you need more than one guest not listed on your invititation, please reach out to us @ mayaanddavid2024@gmail.com After July 10th or once the maximum number of guests has been reached, we will not accept additional +1 requests. Instead, we will make a "waitlist" in case an opening comes available.

Is there a registry?

We are registered Zola and Amazon. Your presence at our wedding is a gift enough, but if you wish to give, your contribution would be greatly appreciated. Both of these registries are connected to the associated tab. A brief note about the items on the registries: the gifts on the registry are to give ideas on what things we need! We will be thrilled to receive any gifts and will be exceedingly greatful!

Will there be dancing at the reception?

Absolutely! We look forward to celebrating and dancing with all of our guests. As a part of the celebration, we have asked, as part of your RSVP's, we have asked everyone for their favorite love song. We will be creating a playlist of these songs to play during the reception in lieu of a band or DJ.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Yes, all we ask is you don't distract those around you from watching the ceremony. After the ceremony and during the reception, Maya and David will be happy to take pictures with those who did not have the opportunity to take them before the ceremony.

Are there any local attractions or activities nearby that guests can explore during their stay?

The venue is about 45 min south of Denver and about an hour north of Colorado Springs. There are beautiful hiking trails and beautiful lookout points in the mountains. There are plenty of attractions/activities to see and do in Denver and Colorado Springs. If David and Maya plan anything for while they are in Denver, they will post it on this site and send an email to invite anyone interested in participating.

Since it is outdoors, can I bring my pet to the ceremony/reception?

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at the venue except for service animals as required by law.

How long will the reception last?

As of now, there is no planned end time for the reception. The pavillions have been reserved for the day, thought we will need sufficient time to clean up the pavillion before the park closes at 7pm.

Are speeches or toasts allowed during the reception?

Yes, we welcome heartfelt speeches or toasts from close friends and family members. Please coordinate with Maya and David beforehand if you know you will want a moment to speak.

Can I help with anything to make the day go smoother?

Your presence is the best gift! If you'd like to help, we would love to have extra hands willing to help with testing down/ cleaning up after the ceremony and reception. We're grateful for your support and help!
