Maya and Joseph's story begins in their hometown of Crystal Lake, IL. Though Maya and Joe attended high schools in the same area and even went to the same prom, their paths didn't officially cross until many years later.

Fast forward to November 2023, when fate decided it was time for their official introduction. They found themselves at Jude's restaurant, the cozy spot that would become the setting for their unforgettable first date.

After that first date, their relationship blossomed during the holiday season. They spent many romantic dates together, creating amazing memories. Their first bigger out-of-state trip was to Miami for Joe's birthday, marking the beginning of their shared adventures.

One of the most cherished moments in their relationship was the proposal. In April, during a trip to Italy, Joe took Maya to the pier in Amalfi to take "cute pictures together." Next thing Maya knew, Joe was down on one knee, asking her to spend the rest of their lives together. It was a magical moment they will never forget.

What they love most about each other is the way they complement one another. Whether it's through shared hobbies or supporting each other's dreams, they bring out the best in each other and find joy in the little things.
