Atalaya Castle and Brookgreen Gardens were both created by Archer and Anna Hyatt Huntington. Atalaya Castle served as the Huntingtons’ home, while Brookgreen Gardens was established as an outdoor sculpture garden to showcase Anna’s work.
Today, Brookgreen Gardens functions as a major sculpture garden, botanical garden, and zoo.
