It all began with a message...

Doug met Mayah in the spring of 2016 after sending her the most thoughtful message with a "less than 1% chance" of receiving a response from her on a popular dating app we won't mention ;) They went on to discuss art, music, and everything in between for hours that very same evening, staying up all night despite having to be up early for work the next day...

After lots of back and forth and fun conversations later, Doug finally met Mayah for their first date at the Denver Zoo in May of 2016. That first date set the tone for their beautiful adventure together that immediately began that day.

6 years strong, Doug and Mayah have been lovers, best friends, camping buddies, and ride-or-die partners with Doug's beautiful daughter, Lucia, and Mayah's crazy Poodle puppy, Boogie ever since!
