McKayla’s first ever built in bestie and cousin. They were first forced to be friends because their moms were such close cousins as it would give them a person to always go to at the many big family gatherings. They shared many sleepovers together laughing all night. Their bond then grew even closer in high school as they were able to talk all the time over Snapchat. Now McKayla gets to pay back the honor of being Tristen’s bridesmaid in her wedding.

McKayla’s long time BFF and chosen sister. They met in 6th grade and the rest is history. They have shared so many memories together and been through so many stages of life with each other. They bonded over their pubescent angst and shared school trauma.

McKayla’s most recent mom friend and thrifting partner. They met in high school and became close after McKayla had her first baby and Morgan became their favorite family photographer. They then began to bond more over their shared passion for thrifting and momming.

Ivy and McKayla met through their husbands being long time best friends. They started out just trying to find a friend in a small town to then talking and hanging out way more than their husbands did. They bonded over babies, gardening, and homesteading

Layne is Laurel’s older sister and the big sister McKayla never had. As they have grown Layne has always been someone McKayla could go to for advice. She watched her boys grow, and now they get to love River. Sister turned neighbor now they get to bond all the time.
