Blake and McKenna’s story began long before their “meet cute” as their families have been friends for generations.

It was at Blake’s cousin’s graduation party where he first caught her eye. McKenna was the first to reach out and they went on their first date at Mad Duck. They instantly hit it off, and spent all evening talking and getting to know each other. Before they knew it, it was 1am! With romance blossoming, they had to navigate dating during the crazy world of Covid. They spent many dates at the Drive-In theater and mini golfing, as well as other outdoor activities. Meeting each other’s family’s was easier than most, considering Blake’s mom and McKenna’s dad grew up together.

They gradually began going on more adventures. First to Pismo, then Disneyland and even Nashville! They have loved traveling together and plan to continue exploring new places! In December 2022, Blake and McKenna moved into their first home and not long after brought home their puppy Zoey. It has been a year and counting with both and they wouldn’t change the experience for anything. They continue to take on new challenges together including home projects as well as nursing school for McKenna. As life continues to change they are glad to have each other and wouldn’t want to do it with anyone else. Blake and McKenna are happy to share their special day with you and thank you for choosing to be a part of this next chapter in their life!
