Our Wedding

We'll start with how we met. We met just like everyone else does in today's world...through social media! It all started in the Fall of 2021. Kyle had graduated from Wayne State College and was living in Elgin, working alongside his dad at Kallhoff Electric. He was also one of the assistant coaches on the BC football team that season. I was in my final year of nursing school at Bryan Health in Lincoln, working as a CNA. At the time, we were both busy working, focusing on our own lives, and not actively looking for a relationship. With the help of God, (and a nudge from my mom), that was all about to change. My parents had decided to attend a BC football game one random and rainy Friday, and my mom noticed a new coach walking the BC sideline. She asked me if I knew who it was, but I hadn't made it to any football games since I graduated so I was very out of the loop. Her words: "Hey, who is the new assistant for BC football?" Me: "No clue Mom, I'm studying for an exam. If you give me his name, I can look later!". His name? From the rain-soaked program, my mom was able to make out that his first name was possibly Kyle, but that was it. I admit I was curious so I found some time to figure out who this new guy was. After some research, I found out his name and did my fair share of stalking. Needless to say, I felt I had nothing to lose and sent him a friend request. He's a smart guy, and immediately accepted and reached out to me. We spent the next few months texting, talking, and getting to know each other. We went on our first official date in January of 2022. We have spent the last three years getting to know and love each other's families. I've since graduated college and started my nursing career at Bryan in Lincoln. We endured long distance for awhile, but ultimately in the spring of 2024 we both relocated to Columbus. Kyle is an electrician in Columbus and the surrounding area and I am an ICU nurse at Columbus Hospital. Now, we've made it to the best part of "Our Story". On July 4th, Kyle proposed! On August 2nd, we get to stand together with God, our families, and our friends and say YES to forever.If you are reading this, know that you are a part of the group of people that we want by our side on our big day! We love you and can't wait to celebrate with you on August 2, 2025.
