Things to Do

The Hive

207 N 1st Ave, Sandpoint, ID 83864

Hang out with the Bride and Groom the night before the big day at The Hive. It's music venue that holds small concerts and serves drinks. Bill and McKenna plan to be there around 7.

Sandpoint Watersports- rent a boat

If you have the time, rent a boat from this company. We have used them in the past and liked them. The water will be cold in June, so be prepared with extra clothes and towels.

Hike Gold Hill or Mickinick Trail

These are good hikes if you are looking to pass the time. It takes Bill and I around 3 hours to complete them. You can also hike Schweitzer Mountain.

Fly Fishing on the Upper Pack River

Text Bill if you want more details on where to go and what you are catching.

Ice Cream at Panhandle Coffee and Cone

216 N 1st Ave, Sandpoint, ID 83864

If you want to kill a sweet tooth, go to this ice cream shop. McKenna also loves it because they have at least 4 dairy free options!

See a movie at the Sandpoint Cinemas

They have pretty cheap movies if you are looking to spend mellow time indoors.

Farmer's Market Every Saturday Morning

It's in downtown Sandpoint. You can't miss it. Local vendors and fresh baked goods.

Mountain Biking on Schweitzer Mt.

There's loads of trails on Schweitzer Mt. If you are looking for something more mellow, try Pine Street Woods.

Silverwood Theme Park

They have pretty good rides and typical theme park food.

Natural Water Slide

We have heard this natural water slide is pretty fun. The road to it requires a high clearance vehicle. June in North Idaho is fairly cold for water activities, so be ready to warm up with extra clothes and towels.

Downtown Sandpoint

There's always an event going on in Sandpoint. Check out the city page for upcoming events. There's usually live music, shows at the local theater, festivals, and at least one race a weekend. Shopping downtown is also very fun.

City Beach

If you are looking for a mellow spot to hangout with the kids, you should go to city beach. It's got sand, clear water, a statue of liberty, and it's within walking distance of food spots downtown.
