I'm never sure where to begin on how Brennan and I came to be. Of course we have known of each other since high school, but since he was a senior when I was a freshman we never really got to know each other or become friends. We only had mutual friends, so we knew who each other was.

Once he graduated and had Natalie, I didn't see him again until I was in my 20's. I was working at Apple's and the soda fountain next door to it where I would see him here and there. He'd come to get Natalie gifts or treat her to ice cream. We made small talk but never major -- except I'd still get the giggles around him as if no time had gone by since we were teenagers in high school.

Fast forward to ages 26 and 29... we both lived a lot of life in those years but nothing short of fate brought us together. IYKYK!!! But if you don't know, after I spent YEARS searching the real estate market for the perfect home for my Jenny Mac and me, I finally found it. Two months into settling into our new home, I realize that Brennan is my next door neighbor!

This was during the first ever covid outbreak. No one was going anywhere, much less on traditional first dates, but once Brennan and I broke the ice with a little road trip, we immediately became inseparable. And we have loved every minute of it!
