Our Story <3

In 2020, the world was anything but predictable. The pandemic turned life upside down, and everything seemed uncertain, yet, in the midst of the chaos, McKenna and Fletcher found each other.

Juniata College became their little bubble where they could hang out and they became good friends. Most of their hangouts consisted of mini parties at the American House where Fletcher lived or walking through the streets in a snowstorm with their roommates.

In 2021, Fletcher graduated from Juniata, and with his degree in hand, he embarked on a new chapter—one that would take him away from McKenna for the next seven months. He was accepted into the Pennsylvania State Police Academy, and though it was a time of pride and excitement, it also meant long stretches of separation. The distance was hard, and the days were long, but McKenna and Fletcher remained steady. Through late-night phone calls, messages of encouragement, and occasional visits, they held onto the love that had begun as a friendship and blossomed into something more.

It was in July of that same year, 2021, that McKenna and Fletcher realized they were no longer just friends. The bond they had built over months of sharing memories and laughter grew into a life that they wanted to experience together. They officially started dating, and just as their love grew, so did the challenges they faced. Fletcher’s time at the police academy was demanding, and McKenna was finding her own path in the world, navigating college and eventually stepping into the fast-paced world of real estate after graduation.

Through it all—the challenges of long-distance, Fletcher’s grueling training, McKenna’s new career, and the world’s ongoing uncertainty—McKenna and Fletcher supported each other with unwavering love and determination. They became each other's rock, celebrating each victory, big or small, and helping each other through the tough times. Even when life threw curveballs, they knew they would be stronger together.

Then, on April 12, 2024, Fletcher asked McKenna to spend the rest of her life with him- a proposal that was as much about their shared journey as it was about the future they were about to build. The chaos of the world had only strengthened their bond, and they were ready for whatever came next, as long as they were doing it together.

Now, as they look toward the future, McKenna and Fletcher are filled with gratitude. It’s been a crazy few years—full of challenges, joy, and growth—but they are beyond grateful for this life they've been given. They have been blessed by the love they've built and the life they are creating together. McKenna and Fletcher are so excited to share their celebration of love with all of their family and friends on September 6th, 2025. Cheers!
