Kyle and Kensi were sophomore’s in high school when they first met each other on Instagram via a mutual friend. Little did they know, they’d be getting married a decade later.

Kyle and Kensi quickly became close, and after texting and facetiming every single day, their relationship became official on May 28, 2015. This proved many challenges for the two as Kensi lived in New York and Kyle lived in Texas. They didn’t meet in person until 11 months into their relationship. From that point on, every 3-6 months, the couple would go back and forth to visit each other for weeks to months at a time. With 1,664 miles separating them, it made for a difficult but rewarding 6 years of a long distance relationship.

In 2021, Kensi moved to Dallas to be with Kyle. The two began to build a life together in person, rather than behind a screen as they did through all those years. They moved in together, got their dream jobs, and adopted their adorable Corgi, Elowyn.

Fast forward to April 22nd, 2024, Kyle surprised Kensi with a trip to Disney World to propose. After almost 9 years together, they were finally engaged. They went through one of the most difficult challenges any couple could, but the distance never broke their spirits and love for each other. In the end love prevailed, and their story continues.
