Sam and Kenzi met at Lakeville North Highschool where Sam was a sophomore and Kenzi was a freshman.

Sam and Kenzi hung out with in the same circle of friends. However, Kenzi thought Sam was quite rude and Sam thought Kenzi was a bit of a dork.

Later into Kenzi's sophomore year they began hanging out more. Their impressions of each other had changed and they became friends.

Sam and Kenzi never dated in High School. They had always circled the idea but they had missed their moment.

Sam graduated and though Kenzi and he still talked it was clear that they were growing up and moving on. After Kenzi graduated there was no communication between the two of them.

Fast forward 7 years. Both Sam and Kenzi found themselves still thinking about one another more often than not.

In July of 2022 a mutual friend, Jose (known as cupid) had listened to them both enough times talking about one another that he told them to reach out.

After some liquid courage Sam was the first to reach out to Kenzi. Inquiring on how she had been. They began talking to each other just like before.

After a month of talking on the phone and through text Sam and Kenzi met up at a local park from "the old days". They talked and caught up with each other on their lives.

In October of 2022 Sam and Kenzi made it official. Sam was the first one to say "I love you." and Kenzi knew that this was her forever person.

In December they moved in together at Sam house. It was exciting and scary all at once but they both knew that this change would be amazing.

They have been together for a year and a half now (their anniversary date is October 2). They have went on adventures together, had hardships, success, fights and makeups but through it all they stand strong.

On August 2nd Sam and Kenzi traveled up north for a golf trip on Sam's birthday. Unknowingly to Kenzi that the weekend held a bigger surprise for her.

On August 3rd, 2024 Sam proposed to Kenzi and she said yes! They are excited and ready for their future. They both know that despite challenges, hardships and grief they can get through it as long as they support each other.
