In August of 2017 McKenzie transferred to Ohio Northern University with a mutual friend. Ryan claims he spotted McKenzie in the cafeteria on move-in day and reached out to the mutual friend via social media to ask "who's that girl you were sitting with?"

Despite several attempts from Ryan over the next several months to get to know McKenzie and show his interest, McKenzie played hard to get. Thankfully Ryan was persistent and stuck around until FINALLY, McKenzie decided to give him a chance.

It has been such a joy to grow alongside each other over the last 7 years, and we can't wait to start this next chapter of our lives with all the people we love by our sides!
