What time should I arrive?
We recommend that you arrive 30-45 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled! Once the ceremony begins, you will not be able to enter if you are late.
Are my children invited?
Though we love your kids, due to venue limitations only those children involved in the wedding party will be receiving an invite. We hope you take this opportunity for a well-deserved child-free date night!
Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?
Our wish is for an unplugged ceremony. We ask that all phones be put away for the duration of the ceremony and wait until cocktail hour/reception to take photos. Our photographer will capture all our special moments and we will share those photos with you as soon as they are available! Photos taken after the ceremony can be posted and we ask that you tag us in them so we can enjoy them too! We will also have a QR code available to upload photos you have taken during the night.
What happens if I do not RSVP on time?
Unfortunately, if we do not hear from you by September 26, 2025, we are required to inform our venue that you will not be in attendance.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Both the ceremony and reception will take place indoors.
Can I bring a date?
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you are given a plus one, your invitation will be written out with "your name and guest".
Is there parking available?
Yes! Both the church and reception venue have parking.
The Drake will have valet services available.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes! Cash for tipping the bartenders is greatly appreciated but not required.
What are the bridesmaids wearing?
The bridesmaids will be wearing black velvet floor length gowns.
Do I need to stay after the ceremony for pictures?
Only immediate family and grandparents will be needed fo pictures after the ceremony!
What should we do during the break between the ceremony and cocktail hour?
We recommend using this time to check in to your hotel room, rest those feet for dancing, freshen up, or grab a drink at the beautiful Drake hotel lobby bar!
