McKenzie and Josh met in high school through mutual friends.

McKenzie made the first move by asking Josh on their first date for a school assignment. She yelled at him in the lunch room. He said yes.

They went on a few more dates then officially started dating March 23rd, 2019.

They attended Senior Prom together the next month.

After graduating high school, they both went to Utah State University for a year before Josh left on his LDS mission to Texas in 2020.

While Josh was in Texas, McKenzie continued her education at Utah State and sent him care packages every month.

Josh returned home in 2021 and they picked up right where they left off.

After dating for 5 happy years, Josh proposed to McKenzie on May 19th, 2024!
