How We Met

Zebulon and McKenzie met the fall of their freshmen year at the University of Arkansas through mutual friends. Although they met in 2017, they would not see each other again until September 2019. Once they reconnected, they fell hard and fast for each other (at least Zeb did, McKenzie took a little longer to come around).

Some of their favorite things to do together include going to the movies, playing/watching lots of baseball, and doing trivia in their free time!

The Proposal

Christmas Day came with a lingering blanket of snow covering the ground in McKenzie's hometown. After a busy day of opening presents, watching Christmas Vacation, and spending time with family, McKenzie's mom, Johna, suggested taking family photos at the park. McKenzie was skeptical, but obliged to appease her mom. What McKenzie didn't know, was that Zeb was waiting at the park with roses and an engagement ring. Needless to say, McKenzie said yes!
