Patrick and Mckenzie first met at a mutual friend’s wedding, the perfect setting for the start of their own love story. By the end of the night, Patrick had asked for her number and invited her on a dog park date. Funny enough, they had both been taking their dogs to the same park for months, yet had never crossed paths until that day.

That first dog park date lasted nearly six hours, filled with conversation, laughter, and a connection neither of them expected. From there, their relationship grew naturally as they spent time with each other’s families and friends, building a foundation rooted in faith and joy.

Fast forward to February 2025, three days before Valentine’s Day, Patrick planned the sweetest surprise at Cranes Roost. As the sun set over the water, he asked Mckenzie to marry him. The next day, family and friends gathered for a surprise engagement party, celebrating their “yes” surrounded by all of their favorite people.

Today, their favorite moments are spent playing pickleball, hosting game nights, and pouring into their community together, always pointing each other closer to Christ. What began as a chance meeting has turned into a lifelong partnership they cannot wait to celebrate with the people they love most.
