Our Story

Picture of Our Story

It all started in 2017 at a high school football game. We couldn’t have known that a simple evening of cheers, lights, and the excitement of the game would be the beginning of something incredible. We met that night, and from the moment we crossed paths, there was an undeniable spark.

From high school sweethearts to best friends, we've been through so much together. We've laughed, we've learned, and we've grown — both as individuals and as a couple. What began as a shared love for late-night talks, silly adventures, and simple moments has blossomed into a deep, unshakeable bond.

Since that first game, we've been head over heels for each other, supporting and encouraging one another every step of the way. Our journey has been filled with endless memories, from road trips to quiet nights in, and we're so grateful for every moment we've shared.

Now, as we prepare to start the next chapter of our lives together, we’re excited to celebrate this beautiful love story — the one that began at a football game, but will last a lifetime.

We’re so grateful to have such incredible friends and family who’ve supported us along the way. Your presence at our wedding means the world to us, and we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you.

The Proposal

One of our favorite things to do is get away from the hustle and bustle and spend time in nature. So, when it came time to pop the question, I knew I wanted it to be somewhere that felt just right for us—a place where we could be completely ourselves.

One evening, we decided to take a drive up the mountain in the truck. The air was cool, and everything was quiet as we made our way to the top. When we arrived, we got out of the truck, and the night was just perfect—calm, clear, and full of stars. We stood there for a while, watching the deer grazing in the distance and just taking in the peacefulness of the night.

As we stood together, I couldn’t think of a better moment. Surrounded by the beauty of nature and feeling completely at home, I knew it was the right time. So, I turned to McKylee, took a deep breath, and asked, “Will you marry me?”

she was in complete shock, but after a beat, she said “Yes!” and we just stood there, taking in the moment—staring at the stars, surrounded by the quiet, and knowing that we were starting a new chapter in our lives.

It was a proposal that felt as grounded and real as our relationship—simple, yet unforgettable. And to this day, every time we look up at the stars, we’re reminded of that perfect night on the mountain.
