Landon and Meadowe met by chance in a bar at East Carolina called Pantana Bobs. They quick got to talking and hit it off from the start. He found out that she worked night shifts at Vidant and offered her breakfast when she got off and it slowly turned to habit. Along with his puppy, Landon won her heart with new adventures in his hometown and would always try and convince her to start new adventures by his side including going to the gym, wild jet ski rides, and even traveling to Washington D.C. just so she could listen to him talk about all the random historical facts he knew.

Landon and Meadowe had no shortage of fun times at the beginning of their relationship, but with fun also came challenges to overcome. Landon had been struggling to find his path in life and she was quick to jump in and give her thoughts on what direction he was going in. After some debate, he dropped out of East Carolina to pursue welding at the local trade school. Soon after, he took a job back in his hometown and realized he couldn't start this new chapter of his life without the woman who had always pushed him for better. Not to mention feeding him and giving him and his then two dogs a safe place to sleep at night. So, when he asked for her to come with him, she did, and their love only grew. He knew that the kind of love they shared was not normal, they were both able to communicate and be open about what they each wanted the future to hold for them both. So, when the time came for him to buy a ring, he did not think twice.

Landon convinced Meadowe that they were going to be going to dinner on June 2, 2023 with some of his friends to Cypress Hall. Meadowe taking her sweet time had no regard for being a tad bit late, debating back and forth if her dress was the right choice. Landon drove both of them downtown and upon arrival told Meadowe that they were going to pop in for a drink at Baxter's beforehand and the two proceeded in that direction. As they were rounding the corner, Landon took Meadowe's hands in his and professed his love for her and how he couldn't imagine a life without one another. Meadowe could not believe what was happening and asked babe are you being serious?!, and Landon asked her so does that mean yes? and she said YES!
Following this unforgettable moment, Landon told Meadowe that he had another surprise awaiting them at Cypress. As they walked through the restaurant doors Meadowe looked up at the loft area and all of her closest friends were there to celebrate their engagement. The evening of June 3rd 2023 will forever be an unforgettable moment for Meadowe and Landon!
