Our Wedding

Zack and Meg met using Hinge, an online dating platform that is designed to be deleted because it promises you will meet “the one”. They chatted for a couple weeks via texts, and Meg kept making excuses to not go on a date. It all started when Meg had a terrible cold and Zack drove over 40 minutes to bring her cold medicine and Gatorade. Meg and Zack both knew they were meant to be together even before their first “real” date in April 2022. Meg introduced Zack to her two girls, Layla and Willow shortly after, even though she was terrified. It was an amazing night that none of them will forget filled with pizza and games. They lived apart for 5 months, making the trips to see each other only on weekends until finally buying a house together in September 2022. Zack likes to joke that he said “I love you” first but Meg likes to remind him that she asked him to marry her and he said no!

The Love Story

Zack left for a work trip on a Sunday and told Meg he had a “surprise for her”. He arrived back home a day early on Thursday night, and Meg sat not-no-patiently until Friday evening for the surprise. All of Meg’s friends said he was going to propose but she didn’t believe them. All she really wanted was wine and cheese! At dinner time on 12/09/22, Zack handed Meg a clue and sent her on a scavenger hunt throughout the house. The final clue said “faker than Kim Kardashian” and there, under the tree sat a present. Meg unwrapped the most thoughtful present ever. It was a book of all the things Zack loved about her, she was so delighted with her surprise…and then she turned to the last page and it was Zack asking if Meg would marry him. She was in shock when she looked up and Zack was on one knee. Meg stared at him for a moment and then said yes!

Meg and Priscilla met in 2016 at work, but they didn’t become best friends until 2020. They have a habit of going through major life events at the same time and frequently say “get out of my head” to each other. Their favorite memory is Halloween 2021, when they attempted to throw a party, and no one showed so they went out to Saratoga dressed as Bob Ross and a steampunk character. Priscilla lost her Bob Ross beard and Meg left her phone in the Uber.

Meg and Olivia went to high school together but didn’t connect until they were adults. Their favorite memory together is the night that Meg got banned from Air BnB.

Meg and Bri met through a mutual friend of theirs shortly after she met Zack. Their favorite memory together is the first night they officially met and they sat in a hotel room drinking wine and sharing stories.

Layla is Meg’s oldest daughter. Their favorite memory together is when they went to the Crystal Caves in Bermuda!
