Their story began in the kitchen of Alpha Phi on the campus of URI in the Fall of 2015. Mike worked as kitchen help and Meg was a resident of the house and a frequent attender of the kitchen. It took several weeks for Mike to approach Meagan and their first interaction was not at the house, but at Wheelhouse Wednesday in Galilee. Their first date was at Shogun Hibachi restaurant in October and in January it became official at Diegos in Newport.

They finished their degrees and Meagan moved to Newport for grad school and Mike to Cumberland for work, starting the beginning of a few years of their ~mid~ distance relationship. They spent many Winters experiencing the quiet months of Newport and it became a special place for them both. This is why they are bringing you all to experience Newport’s winter magic.

In July of 2021, they settled in the middle in East Greenwich and squeezed their lives into a five hundred squarefoot third floor walkup. The following April, Mike proposed during a family trip to Manasota Key, Florida. In the Summer of 2022, Meg decided their lives were not complete without a dog, so they bought a house in Cranston RI with a fenced in yard. One month later, Mike surprised Meg with the newest addition to the family, their aussiedoodle Pepperjack.

The last seven years have been a whirlwind of adventures with friends and family. They have moved to just about every corner of Rhode Island and traveled the country to ski, vacation, and celebrate their people. In January of 2024, they look forward to tying the knot with all of their friends and family in a place that means so much to them.
