In the Spring of their freshman year at Baylor University, Jacob took his seat behind a beautiful red-head named Meagan in their Statistics class. Though she caught his eye, they didn’t have a chance to get to know each other yet.

After a couple more semesters (and a few failed conversation attempts from Jacob), Meagan finally warmed up enough to stop by his hammock to say hello. These interactions were brief, but always looked forward to.

Upon taking a Physics class together, the pair slowly became friends. The more they got to know each other, the faster time seemed to pass as they talked.

Soon, their deep friendship became a dating relationship, and Jacob and Meagan took on their final year at Baylor hand-in-hand.

Since then, the couple has supported each other through all of the highs and lows, graduating from Baylor and following each other to live in the DFW area. As Jacob continues his medical education at TCOM, Meagan will begin her Masters program at TCU in Fall 2024.

On January 27, 2024, Jacob led Meagan through an old antique bookstore in Salado to a beautiful chapel. As they celebrated their relationship through a musical journey, Jacob asked Meagan to be his wife. Oh, and she said yes!

With Christ as the foundation of their relationship, Jacob and Meagan cannot wait to spend the rest of their lives together and see where the Lord will take them next!
