Meagan and Todd met during their undergraduate careers at Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. They were both members of the Chemistry Department and joined the same undergraduate research group, where they became close friends. On September 16, 2016 during their senior year of college, they began dating.

After graduation from Trinity, Meagan and Todd remained in San Antonio for a few years. They moved in together and started structuring their lives around a future together. Loving to travel, they have visited many places together, including San Francisco, Santa Barabara, New York City, Orlando, Chicago, Boulder, and Todd’s native country of Australia. They have aspirations to continue their travels and explore new places.

About three years into their relationship, they met a stray dog after having dinner one night. That dog’s name is now Rusty and he has been happily living with Todd and Meagan for over three years. He has brought them so much joy and has played a huge role in the family they have begun together.

When Todd chose to begin his graduate degree at the University of Colorado - Boulder in 2020, he, Meagan, and Rusty moved to the Boulder, CO area. Since living in Colorado, they have picked up some Coloradan hobbies; their favorite activity includes going on a hike followed by a visit to a local brewery.

It was in Colorado on September 10, 2022 that Todd proposed to Meagan on one of their favorite local walks on a creek near their home. They are looking forward to celebrating their marriage with friends and family and for a lifetime of happiness as husband and wife.
