The couple's initial meeting came about in 2019 after Blake's mom and Meagan's grandma decided to set them up during a Sunday school class at church. Kelly and Janet had Meagan and Blake follow each other on social media, one thing led to another, and the couple had their first date at Josh's Sno Shack. There was instant chemistry between the two. The couple became official on May 23rd, 2019, and have happily been together for over 5 years.

The couple took the next step in their relationship and got engaged on December 15th, 2023 at the University of Tulsa. Blake surprised Meagan by getting her to think she was just stopping by her friend's apartment to drop off a forgotten check before a dinner date. Upon arriving at the university to meet her friend Sheldyn, the couple was directed to go check out the Christmas tree and lights on TU's campus before dinner since they had time to kill. Walking up to the Christmas tree, the couple's song Beautiful Crazy was playing, and Meagan finally pieced together what was about to happen. Crossing to the other side of the tree, there laid a thoughtful proposal set up and some close friends. In front of the Christmas tree, Blake asked Meagan to marry him, and she said YES!! The couple has been on cloud nine since and are so excited about what the future has in store. God has so evidently shown his love and plan for Meagan and Blake, and the couple cannot wait to enter into a God-centered marriage surrounded by their close friends and family!
