Meagan's childhood friend, Danielle, who happens to be Shaun's cousin! introduced us. We became friends and started dating 2 years after we met.

We planned a weekend to Galena, IL in February 2016. Much to Meagan's surprise, Shaun would be proposing! Meagan planned all the winter excursions while on the long weekend trip and Shaun secretly planned his surprise. When we arrived at the Shenandoah Riding Center, I was told I won a wine package for Valentine's Day (does he know me, or what?!)! We went on our ride and pulled off to enjoy some of the wine I won. Except the bottle wasn't just any bottle, it read 'Meagan marry me'? And now, the rest is history!
