Meagan and Quint both grew up in cities with a rich cultural heritage and deep traditions. Raised in households that placed a high priority on faith and thoughtfulness, they unknowingly shared an early connection—attending the same week of FUGE youth summer camp at Ridgecrest. Throughout their academic journeys, they were constantly challenged and rose to each occasion. Both experienced discernible calls to ministry in their young adulthood, which ultimately led Meagan to New Orleans in pursuit of collegiate ministry and theological education.

Though separated by a few years in age, Quint and Meagan quickly discovered their shared passions: city life, faith and ministry, academics, the arts, theology, philosophy, and so much more. What began as a deep friendship blossomed as they ministered together, shared meals, and enjoyed long conversations. They found themselves spending every spare moment in each other’s company, becoming each other’s best friend.

After over 6+ years of cultivating their friendship—sometimes suppressing their romantic feelings for fear of risking what they had—the couple officially began dating in 2024, much to the delight of those who had “called it” from day one.

When reflecting on their relationship, it's difficult for them to point to a single moment when they realized they were meant to be together. But looking back, it's clear that from early childhood, the Lord has intricately woven their hearts and desires together in a way that’s impossible to ignore. Together, they’ve faced the best and the worst life has to offer, and through it all, God has shown them time and time again that they were made for each other.
