Billy and Meaghan met for the first time on July 3rd, 2013 at a backyard 4th of July BBQ in Northport. From the moment Meaghan arrived, Billy was curious about who this new girl was as he had never seen her before. With some beer-infused confidence and witty jokes at the ready, Billy approached Meaghan and introduced himself. Immediately the two hit it off and began chatting about Hockey and the NHL. Billy being a diehard Rangers fan and Meaghan being a loyal Islanders fan, (although that has changed in recent years) led to a lot of flirtatious banter back and forth.

When it was time to leave, Meaghan went in for a hug but Billy swooped in with a kiss at the last minute. This kiss would later be the topic of conversation for years to come as Billy seems to not remember the timeline of the entire evening.

The two then spent the rest of the summer texting and had their first official date at Rosa's Pizza in Huntington followed by a movie at AMC. Billy left for his freshmen year of college a few weeks later and although tough, the two kept in constant communication via text and Facetime and finally on September 29th, 2013 Billy officially asked Meaghan to be his girlfriend!

Meg and Billy have spent the last 10 years creating so many amazing memories, trying new things, and traveling to fun places. Some of their favorite memories include a trip to Mexico, moving into their first place, spending numerous summers out in Mattituck (the spot of the engagement), and going to Ranger games.

The pair are so excited to share this special day with all their closest friends and family and can't wait to make more awesome memories for years to come!
