Our Wedding

It all started in the fall of 2022 with a Hinge match that felt a little like fate. What we did not know at the time was that fate had actually been circling us for months. Meera and Neil had been working in the same hospital, on the same floor, literally across the hallway from each other. We were practically breathing the same air every day, yet we never met. It took a dating app and a very determined algorithm to finally put us face-to-face.Right after we matched, Meera had to leave for her brother’s wedding and then immediately came down with the flu. This left Neil waiting far longer than any person should have to wait before a first date. Thankfully he was patient, and once we finally met at The Pearl in San Antonio, everything clicked instantly. We both knew pretty quickly that this was different in the best way. From that night forward, we were basically inseparable.Everything felt easy and natural. By the summer of 2023, we were so inseparable, Neil finally moved in with Meera and her beloved dog Ollie. Though Ollie tried to bite Neil the first time they met, he soon forgave Ollie and not only became his stepfather, but the father who stepped up.The proposal was thoughtful and completely Neil. During a weekend trip to Chicago, he asked Meera to marry him, and of course she said yes.We are so excited to celebrate our wedding in beautiful Cancun in November 2026. We can’t wait to dance, laugh, and make lifelong memories with the people who mean the most.

Booking Your Room

Air Travel

For air travel, please plan to fly into and out of the Cancun International Airport. The resort is only 10-15 minutes away from the airport by vehicle. While there is a 3-night minimum, most guests choose to add nights at the discounted rate before and/or after the wedding in order to enjoy the incredible resort with friends and family. Wedding events are being held on November 19th, 20th, and 21st. Please feel free to take advantage of this rate from Tuesday, November 17, 2026-Tuesday, November 24, 2026.

Transportation

Complimentary transportation to and from the airport is provided by AVA for 2 adults per room. If additional transportation is needed outside of the 2 adults/room, please indicate this using the link above. This is best done after your room(s) have been booked. Car seats available per request for $30 one way. This charge is automatically added for children under 5; if bringing your own car seat, please indicate this when submitting your request for additional transportation

Passports and Visas

At this time, there are no travel advisories impacting travel to Cancún, and our resort is located in a secure, tourist-friendly area. Haldi: Attire: Shades of yellow, orange, white, or soft pastels are perfect for this event. Women can wear flowy kurtas, sarees, salwar suits, or light lehengas.
