Things to Do

There is so much we love to do here - it's definitely not limited to this list, but here are a few of our favorite suggestions! The Bentwood's guidebook also has lots of helpful info.


Skiing at JHMR/in the backcountry

The Stilson parking lot, adjacent to The Bentwood, offers a free shuttle to the mountain. Here's the link to ski butlers fitting and rental service, which is cheaper than renting at the resort.


Cross Country Skiing & Snowshoeing

Teton Park Rd & Moose Wilson Rd are favs. For a quick walk nearby, we love R Park and Emily Stevens Park along the snake river (both less than a mile from the inn). The Bentwood has snowshoes for guests to use.

Q & A

Where is the ceremony, dinner and reception?

The ceremony and dinner will be at The Bentwood Inn (where we are staying). After dinner, we'll head to the Cowboy Bar to celebrate.

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Weather depending, we're hoping to have the ceremony outdoors. It will be really quick!

What should I wear?

Semi-formal is perfect. It'll be freezing with lots of snow (we hope) so make sure you're comfortable/cozy!

Do you have more details on lodging?

We’ve reserved the entire Bentwood Inn for three nights (Thursday–Sunday) for everyone traveling to celebrate with us. We’ll be sending out room assignments soon! Breakfast will be served daily.

Can we bring outside food/drinks?

Yep! There is a kitchenette and fridge on the second floor. Other fridge/kitchen space available in certain rooms.

What airport?

Jackson Hole Airport (JAC) is the closest, about 30 minutes from The Bentwood.

Best way to get around/to the inn?

We'd suggest renting a car. Uber/lyft/taxi options exist, but can be unreliable. A few of us will be driving and can help coordinate rides or shared rentals so just text us with any questions.

Can we extend our stay?

Yes! If you'd like to arrive earlier or stay longer than the three night block, reach out to the Bentwood Inn (events@bentwoodinn.com). Let them know you are with our party for a discount. Please note that the Inn is not technically blocked for additional days, so it is possible non-wedding guests may also be present.
