All US travelers must have a valid US passport for return travel to the US with a minimum of six 6-month validity.

The Mexican pesos; US dollars are widely accepted in most of the resorts and restaurants as well as Visa and MasterCard. However, American Express is only accepted in a few businesses and some resorts will not accept payment cash in US dollars. American checks are not accepted in Los Cabos. Also, most of the ATMs will provide you only pesos. Make sure you contact your bank before you visit Mexico to inform them of your trip so they do not block your credit cards.

There is now Uber in Los Cabos but they have no access to pick you up from the airport so you would need to make prior arrangements for pick-up from the airport. Taxis are widely available but they do not accept credit card payments, cash only. Uber is not allowed to pickup in Grand Solmar but you can be dropped by Uber if you take one from downtown for example.

The weather in Cabo San Lucas in May is usually sunny and between 75F and 85F with 55% humidity.

The main airport serving Los Cabos is the Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) and is 28 miles from the Grand Solmar Pacific Dunes.

Los Cabos is on Pacific Standard Time during the month of May and throughout the summer as Mexico no longer observes daylight saving (lucky!).
