What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
We kindly ask guests to arrive by 3:00PM to allow time for parking, seating, and settling in. The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30PM, and we don’t want you to miss a thing!
What's the dress code?
We kindly ask guests to dress in cocktail attire—think fall wedding chic! Suits or sport coats for men and dresses or dressy jumpsuits for women. Please, no jeans.
Our wedding colors are sage green and navy, so if possible, we’d love for guests to avoid wearing those shades to help the wedding party stand out. Thank you!
Can I bring a plus one?
If your invitation includes “+ guest”, then yes—your plus one is absolutely welcome! If your invite was addressed to just you, we kindly ask that you attend solo so we can stay within our venue and guest list limits. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Are kids welcome?
We love your little ones, but we’re planning an adults-only celebration. The only exceptions are for children in the wedding party or specifically named on the invitation. We hope this allows all our guests to relax and enjoy the evening with us!
Where should I RSVP?
Once you receive your invitation, it will include all the RSVP details—either a card to mail back or a link to RSVP online. We haven’t sent them out just yet, but keep an eye on your mailbox (and your inbox) closer to the big day!
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes! There will be on-site parking in a nearby field, and we’ll have a drop-off area closer to the venue for anyone who needs a shorter walk. Signs and parking attendants will help guide you when you arrive!
Are there hotel blocks?
We haven’t reserved any hotel blocks since most of our guests are local, but if you're traveling in, we’ve listed some nearby hotels and Airbnbs under the Travel section of our website to help with planning. Let us know if you have any questions—we’re happy to help!
Is any transportation provided?
We won’t be providing transportation, so if you’re planning to celebrate with a few drinks (or just plan to have a great time!), please make arrangements in advance. Uber and Lyft typically service the area, but we recommend scheduling ahead or coordinating a designated driver to be safe.
What's the best airport to fly into?
We recommend flying into Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport (CHO)—it’s the closest and most convenient option. You can also fly into Richmond (RIC) or Dulles (IAD), but just note that both are a bit farther away and will require a longer drive to the area. If you have questions about travel options, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help!
What’s the ceremony/reception venue address?
2195 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, VA 22968
What time does the reception end?
The celebration will wrap up at 9:00 PM, with last call for drinks at 8:45 PM per venue guidelines. We plan to make the most of every minute, so get ready for a fun (and full!) evening of dancing, dinner, and drinks!
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Our celebration will be a mix of indoor and outdoor festivities, weather permitting! We recommend keeping an eye on the forecast and bringing a light jacket or wrap just in case—it is fall in Virginia, after all!
Will there be food and drinks?
Absolutely! We’ll have an open bar with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, plus appetizers, a full dinner, and dessert to keep you well-fed and ready to hit the dance floor!
Is there specific cuisine being served?
Yes! We’ll be serving up barbecue with all the classic sides—a cozy and delicious nod to Virginia fall flavors.
If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please be sure to let us know when you RSVP so we can do our best to accommodate!
Will there be dancing?
Absolutely! We’ll have a DJ spinning tunes all night, and we fully expect everyone to hit the dance floor and cut a rug—so bring your best moves and your party spirit!
Can we take photos during the ceremony?
We kindly ask that you put phones and cameras away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present with us in the moment. Don’t worry—we’ve hired an amazing photographer to capture it all, and we can’t wait to share the photos with you afterward!
Is there a wedding hashtag we should use when posting photos?
Yes, please tag your photos with #itsbregantime so we can see all the special moments you capture—we can’t wait to relive the day through your eyes!
Are you registered anywhere?
Yes! You can find all of our registry details—including gift ideas and a honeymoon fund—under the Registry section of our wedding website. Your love and support mean the most, and we're so grateful for your generosity!
If you have any other questions...
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to Meg or Bryan by phone or email—we’re more than happy to help with anything you need. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
