Uber is definitely the easiest way to get around the city, but there is also a vast amount of public transportation. I would highly recommend getting the Ventra app if you plan on taking Chicago public transit. Through the app you're able to put money on a ventra card that can be saved to your apple wallet. Otherwise you can also use credit cards with the tap to pay option at all the stations, but it will be a little more expensive. Another option is the curb app. The curb app is like uber, but instead it calls a taxi.

Uber, Blue Line, or Taxi. The blue line starts at O'Hare and will take you into the heart of the city. To get to the blue line after your flight follow the CTA signs.
