Matt and Megan had known of each other during their High School years but it wasn't until March 2021 when they got to know each other. Megan had been working at the local coffee shop on Saturdays and when she had time off from teaching. Each day after work, Matt came into the coffee shop. It was only a matter of time before Megan's interest in Matt grew. Little did she know, Matt also became interested in her.


By May 2021, Matt and Megan began their relationship, keeping it low-key. They wanted to be focused on getting to know each other without getting the hopes up of their families and friends, except CiCi, who instantly fell in love with Matt. I guess you can say it was love at first sight for Matt and CiCi. When the time was right, Matt and Megan met each other's families. Megan and Matt’s families were elated they finally had found their forever love in each other and they quickly became a part of each other’s family.


In September 2023, Matt paid a visit to Megan's parent's house to ask them for their blessing for Megan's hand in marriage, and on September 17, 2023, after 2 years and 4 months of being together, Matt proposed to Megan at their home on a relaxing Sunday evening. It could not have been more beautiful and perfect!
