Bryan and Megan met the summer of 2015. It was Megan’s brother Kenneth’s wedding. Bryan was a groomsman and Megan was a bridesmaid. Bryan was stationed in Florida at the time in the Air Force and Megan was living in Virginia as a social worker. Megan fractured her ankle the night of the wedding and Bryan decided to stick around longer to take care of her. The night of the wedding, Kenneth noticed something special, pulled Bryan aside, and gave him his blessing to date Megan. The next several months were full of Skype dates and surprise visits from Bryan. Then came a crossroad. Bryan had to choose between re-enlisting in the Air Force or getting out of the service. After a lot of thought and prayers, he decided to take a big leap of faith, got out of the service, and moved to Virginia to start a life with Megan. Three happy years later, Bryan and Megan bought their first house together and when they went to enter their home for the first time, their fur baby, Madi, busted out of the front door with an engagement ring tied by a red ribbon around her neck. Bryan popped the question and they’ve been counting their blessings ever since!
