During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Brandon and Megan were both eager to start their freshman year at the University of Oklahoma. Through social media, they stumbled upon each other and felt an immediate connection. After settling into their college life, they met in person for the first time at Brandon's fraternity, Sigma Nu. From that moment on, their bond only grew stronger.


Throughout their time at OU, they created countless cherished memories, from cheering on the Sooners at home and away football games—especially the thrilling OU vs. Texas showdown—to spring break adventures, fraternity formals, and weekend trips across Texas and California. Along the way, they graduated with impressive degrees, celebrated milestones, and shared laughter, love, and unforgettable experiences.


As their college years drew to a close, both Brandon and Megan realized that their futures would be incomplete without one another. In the spring of 2024, they took a special trip to California, where they visited a jeweler to browse engagement rings, knowing that Brandon would soon be popping the question. Brandon also took the opportunity to ask for Megan's parents' blessing during a sweet dinner at Maggiano’s. There, amidst happy tears, the moment was made even more unforgettable by a certain tearful father (we won’t name names... but Mr. Jay, we see you!).


On July 4th, 2024, with both families in on the surprise, Brandon planned a beautiful proposal, and of course, Megan said yes!


Today, Megan is a pediatric nurse at Children’s Hospital, and Brandon works as an industrial engineer at The Star in Frisco. They found their dream home in Celina,Texas and will begin to move over the summer. They are beyond excited for what the future holds, grateful for the love they share, and can’t wait to celebrate their love with their closest friends and family in Texas this October.


Together, Brandon and Megan are ready to embark on the next chapter of their journey—one filled with love, laughter, and countless new memories.
