In the summer of 2019, Megan had just returned home after living in South Korea and started working in downtown Seattle. Chris was still at UW Harborview, continuing his work in healthcare.
Both longtime Ultimate frisbee players, Megan and Chris met through a mutual friend when they joined the same UPS alumni team for a local tournament in Redmond. That weekend, Chris asked for Megan’s number—and not long after, they had their first date at Vita Coffee in Fremont. The rest, as they say, is history.
Since then, they’ve shared countless adventures: camping, backpacking, cycling, running, skiing, and, of course, playing frisbee in Oregon, California, Utah, and Colorado. Their bond is rooted in a shared love for the outdoors, animals, and the joy of scientific discovery.
Chris is now a practicing Physician Assistant, and Megan is in graduate school studying Public Health. Together, they bring curiosity, compassion, and enthusiasm to creating a healthier future for all.
They’ve vacationed in Whistler (more than once), soaked up the sun in Hawaii (twice), and traveled to Japan to celebrate Chris’s graduation from PA school. Megan loves to garden and cook, and Chris is a very happy taste-tester.
For the past 6–7 years, they’ve made a cozy home in Wallingford—and they hope to stay in the neighborhood for many more adventures to come.
