During the height of the COVID pandemic, the best way to connect with people was through the internet. Truly out of boredom came the decision to go on Tinder and start swiping in an attempt to initiate new (and hopefully interesting) conversations. What we didn't know at the time was that it would lead us to our soulmate. After meeting online and texting for an entire month, we decided that we needed to meet up in person to see if that connection was as strong. And sure enough, it was even stronger. We continued dating, getting to know each other, and falling in love. Almost one year into our relationship, Megan was offered a job opportunity in Prosper, Texas, and we decided to take a leap of faith and move together. It has only brought us closer together as we have created a life and home here (but Michigan will always be our first home!). Our fur babies Stella and Josie joined us and have literally been soaking up the Texas sun.

All of our talks about the future always included each other in it. On April 15, 2023, Brian popped the big question at our apartment, the living room decorated with rose petals, tea lights and our song playing in the background. Little did Megan know that he had been coordinating with her best friend and Maid of Honor Lauren to help set the whole thing up and surprised her with being there for the proposal!

While it may not be the traditional fairy tale meeting, this Tinderella has found her prince charming and we cannot wait to start our forever together!
