Megan swiped right on Eric’s Hinge profile and it was a match! Eric came over to Megan’s house for our first date. Because it was the height of COVID, we had to get creative so we made scones and watched Moulin Rouge.

Our relationship became official and we celebrated with a COVID classic: fancy takeout date night.

We adopted Georgie, the cutest and cuddliest cat the streets of Akron could offer.

We moved in together! Now, if you’re thinking: “Wait a minute, that was fast” you’d be right. COVID really torpedoed our relationship forward, so we knew pretty quickly that we were in it for the long haul.

We got our first dose of the COVID vaccine. We were both so excited to get to do “normal” couple things.

We adopted Rigatoni, the sassy little sister Georgie definitely didn’t ask for.

We took our first big trip together to Denver and celebrated Eric turning the big 30.

Eric bought Megan tickets to see Moulin Rouge The Musical in New York City. This was Eric’s first trip to the Big Apple and Megan’s first time seeing a show on Broadway.

We spent a whirlwind of a week in Maine visiting family and friends.

Our biggest and best trip yet! Eric made Megan wait (not so patiently) through Barcelona, Paris, and adventures in the south of France before he finally popped the big question at the Exotic Garden in Èze, France. It was a very easy “oui” from Megan!
