We met during the summer of 2017 on a chance encounter while Megan was visiting family in Michigan. Noah quickly found himself in Chicago with his friend Kyle, a friendly slap bet was made. Whoever dated someone for a month first would get to slap the other. Noah asked Megan to be his girlfriend the next day!

Megan was set to fulfill a lifelong dream one month later in which she would move to France to study abroad for half the year. On the eve of her departure, she got to witness the slapping of Kyle.

Once Megan was back in the states we still had to deal with some distance with Megan completing school and starting her career in Illinois, and Noah finishing school in Michigan. Noah graduated and we moved in together in Chicago, establishing our careers and enjoying the city; together, with friends, and with our dog Ella!

Covid came not terribly long after and the desire for doing more outdoors led us to Colorado, where we now live, and are getting married! While it feels like we've written many chapters together in this book of life, we look forward to continuing to explore, grow, and experience life together - and we cannot wait to celebrate our love with you!
