Central Park is a classic place to visit in New York. If you have the time to walk through, enjoy a picnic, or take a rowboat on the lake, we highly recommend!
Located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, the Met is a perfect place to visit, whether you go inside to view the amazing art exhibits, or enjoy some iconic New York classics like a hot dog and a soft pretzel.
Chelsea Market is a great space for pretty much anything you are craving for food. It is also one of our favorite places to check out some amazing stores to find unique gifts.
Check out Brooklyn Charm to make your own charmed jewelry to commemorate your trip to NYC!
The name speaks for itself…The Best Bagels in New York! On the weekends be prepared for a long line; it is worth the wait!
One of Megan’s favorite Pizza places! Aside from having the best New York thin crust pizzas, this historic restaurant has so many memories since it was the go-to spot for Megan’s family to go to after her dads Police promotions / celebrations.
Grand Banks is a celebrated oyster bar aboard the historic wooden schooner, Sherman Zwicker. Inspired by the floating "oyster barges" that lined Manhattan's waterfront in the 18th and 19th centuries, Grand Banks features sustainably harvested oysters, nautically inspired cocktails, and awe-inspiring views. One of Megan’s favorite spots along the Pier 25. Pier 25 also has mini golf!
The Irish Hunger Memorial is a .5-acre park at the corner of Vesey Street and North End Avenue in the Battery Park City neighborhood of Manhattan. This is a great open air tribute to Irish history, and it is filled with all plants and rocks from every county in Ireland, along with an imported Irish cottage! This was also a place mentioned in the movie ‘P.S I Love You’ where they share corn beef sandwiches! Stop by the near restaurant “PJ Clarke on the Hudson” for an amazing lunch and view.
If you are ready to enjoy some shopping in Soho, go to Spring street! You will have a great time walking this street and visiting some luxury stores, and small boutiques. The new Jacquemus store at 143 Spring St. is a good place to start!
New York City is famous for its culinary scene that tells the tales of the people that helped shape the city through delicious dishes. No trip to NY is complete without a stop at an Italian restaurant in Little Italy. Please check out the link for some of Ny’s favorite restaurants found within Little Italy. There is also the San Gennaro Festival in September held here!
Close to the West Village, this small but mighty Pizza spot quickly became one of Daniel’s favorites after a trip in November for their birthday weekend. This Pizza place is cash only, so bring enough cash for 1 or 2 slices…maybe 3 when you go back for more! While you are in the area, check out the other great shops and street vendors in the area…Also don’t hesitate to check out the Comedy Cellar (where Megan’s brother Lawrence works!)
