I met Melissa my freshman year at GVSU. We both lived on the same floor in Robinson living center. Melissa and I quickly became great friends. We spent most of freshman year hanging out on the first floor of Robinson, with all the other Robinson peeps...staying up wayyyy later than we should, lol. Melissa and I have so many hilarious memories from freshman year, we always love to reminisce about them. I'm so glad Melissa has stayed by my side since the day we met and has continued to live up to her freshman college name - the "mom" of the group. Without her, I probably wouldn't have made it through my first year of GVSU.

Technically I've known Niki for most of my life - we went to the same elementary, intermediate, middle and high school, but we didn't have a class together until senior year of high school. This is where we realized we were both going to the same college. We officially become friends freshman year of college in math class. At the end of Freshman year, Niki asked me if I wanted to be a roommate for sophomore year. I'm so glad she did because this is when we became inseparable! From there on out, all my college memories included Niki - we've had so many crazy and fun times together. I'll never forget staying up till 2am most every night sophomore year just watching any funny youtube video we could find, cracking ourselves up.

I also met Amanda freshman year at GVSU. She was in the same math class Niki and I were in. My very first 'true' interaction I had with Amanda happened right after our math class. Amanda and I would walk the same path back to our college dorm. One day after not necessarily ever talking with each other yet, Amanda comes up next to me, hands me the other end of her headphone, and starts bopping away. Once I heard the song, I knew she was going to be my friend. She was blasting "Man I Feel Like a Woman" by Shaina Twain, one of my favorite songs. That next year, Amanda and I were bunk buddies and became even closer friends. We've made so many memories together since that day, I can't imagine my life without her. 

Amanda Blossfeld 

I met Haley when I moved back home to Michigan a couple of years ago. We both danced for a ballet company called, Ballet Edge Detroit. Haley and I quickly realized we were almost the same person - we liked all the same things, had the same shoes, the same car, and both had a love for dance and going country line dancing! If it wasn't for Haley, my time back at home would not have been the same. She made it incredibly hard to want to leave Michigan. We spent the summer before I left hanging out at the lake, going to ballet class and hitting the country bars together. If you want the story of our first hangout, just ask Haley, because it's definitely a good one, lol.

I met Jenny during trivia night a few years ago while living in Colorado (initially). Jenny is one of those people that instantly makes you feel like you've been best friends for years. When we first met, I shared my whole life story and came to realize we had a lot in common. Jenny was my rock during what I would consider one of the most difficult times in my life. Her friendship during that time meant the world to me - I had no doubt she would be a forever friend....she is a Michigander after all. I love that we get to spend time exploring the great state of Colorado together and I am so glad she will get to be by my side on my big day.

Nicky is my wonderful sister-in-law and someone I'm grateful to have in my life. She's always been supportive, thoughtful, and easy to be around. Growing up, I always wondered what it would be like to have a sister; someone I could always count on, a built-in best friend, and partner in crime. Even though I don't get to see Nicky nearly as much as I would like, I know she is always there for me. Over the past 10 years, we have grown so much closer, and it has been a joy to get to know her as a friend and a sister. I am so thankful she will be standing with us on our wedding day.

Emily is my cousin and one of my favorite people to be around. She was actually there the night I met Jacob at the Rockie's game. Growing up, a lot of my memories include Emily; like spending hours on end at Ethan Allen with our moms while we tried to entertain ourselves, going roller skating in her subdivision, going to see the Harry Potter movies in theatre, and Christmas Eve parties at our grandmas house. I'm so happy that we are still friends and find ways to see each other despite living in different states. We always love hitting the slopes together and checking out the Colorado breweries.

Katie is also my cousin and one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. I also have many memories with Katie from my childhood. A lot of weekends were spent hanging out at her moms house while we either played video games in the basement or went shopping at Twelve Oaks mall. One of my favorite childhood memories of us is our weekend spent making Christmas cookies with our moms. We would spend all day helping our moms, but half of the time was spent messing around with the dough and making something we called dough babies, lol. Katie is still such a fun time to this day and I'm incredibly grateful to have her as a friend. I got to be by her side on her big day, so I'm so thankful she will be by mine in August :)

The Golden Mill

Red Rocks Amphitheatre is an open-air amphitheater in the western United States near Morrison, Colorado, approximately ten miles southwest of Denver. This is a must see, even if you aren't going for a concert. You can walk up to the top and enjoy the view.

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre

It's a great spot for&nbsp;hiking, picnicking, or just taking in the scenery. The drive up is scenic and easy, with well-maintained roads.
