The double Con's met in July of 2022. I always like to tell people Gunnar pulled me over in Gardner for speeding so in return I gave him my number. In reality how we met was at a bar. We hit it off, danced all night, and never stopped talking since. This was our first picture together! When we first started dating I was in nursing school and Gunnar was on night shift. For the first few months we had a lot of facetime date nights.

Zoo lights with McKenna and Emma! One of the first "dates" Gunnar had with the twinters (as we call them). This was the night Gunnar completely stole my heart. Gunnar was so kind and patient with the three of us.

Gunnar brought me back to his home town in Iowa and to go ice fishing for the first time!

Policeman's Ball, I love to support Gunnar in any direction he chooses in his career. This was my first time attending and an abundance of emotions were overflowing. Everytime he leaves for work, I say "be safe" and he says "always". We now have made it into key chains and tell each other that every time he goes into work.

I was preparing for graduation and wanted pictures in my scrubs. My friend Adria snapped some photos and Gunnar showed up in his uniform to take photos with me. #powercouple as some say!

Graduation day with RN, BSN!

First concert together - Luke Combs, my all time favorite country singer. Gunnar got floor seats and it was one of the best nights. Gunnar's sweet friends Spencer and Emile joined too, also the night Spencer caught the football Riley Green threw into the crowd.

We celebrated my 30th birthday weekend doing what I love most, at the lake! Gunnar, the girls, and I packed up the camper for the week and spent a lot of time at the beach, on the boat, and playing games. Gunnar spoiled my family and I with a habachi style for my birthday dinner.

Back to Iowa we went, brought McKenna and Emma to meet the rest of Gunnar's family!

Celebrated the girls 12th birthday!

The engagement! I had been wanting updated family photos and Gunnar's dad just so happens to be a photographer. He asked his dad to do family photos, and little did I know what was really going on behind the scenes. His family and my family were there to witness Gunnar proposing! McKenna and Emma kept this HUGE secret and cried tears of joy with their mama! This is when I found out that not only did he ask my dad for permission, but he asked my daughters, mom, and both of my brothers. Now we cannot wait to celebrate our big day with all of our loved ones and to drink and dance the night away!
