Alex and Megan met in October of 2021. They chatted over text messages for three months before finally meeting to have margaritas at Tequilas in Garden City (Where Alex was so nervous he knocked his marg on the floor). The two talked and talked and never ran out of things to say. Eventually they ended up in Stevens Park, where they slow danced to "Porch Swing Angel" by Muscadine Bloodline. They went to the late movie and ended up leaving early, because, you guessed it, they both fell asleep. After that first date, the two were inseparable, driving back and forth between Kalvesta to Garden City to see each other when they could.

Eventually, Alex and Megan returned to Stevens Park after a night of margaritas. They slow danced to the same song as their first date. Alex spun Megan away from him and when she looked back, he was down on one knee asking her to marry him. Megan, of course, cried like a baby, and said the easiest "yes," she has ever said.

Alex stuck around after Megan's Dad invited the entire town of Holcomb to Thirsty Dawg to meet Alex for the first time. Megan has survived three Wheat and Fall Harvests with the crew and looks forward to many more with the Legacy Farm Crew.
