History of the Farm & Milk House Chocolate Operations

Kimberly and Clint Thorn feed their cows the finest, sweetest hay and natural feeds resulting in their signature cream milk and delicious artisanal chocolates, Milk House Chocolates, made with fresh orchard fruits, garden herbs, and honey. Each chocolate is connected to a very specific cow, with each cow’s milk making an unbelievable difference in the flavor of the chocolates. Thorncrest Farm feels like a local secret you were lucky enough to stumble upon. Milk House Chocolates brings you artisanal chocolates made in small batches with our fresh milk, cream and butter. These chocolates will melt different, taste different and feel different. If you like locally grown fresh food, made with the absolute purest ingredients, with attention to detail, come taste the difference and enjoy! Our cows in the stable are fed the finest sweetest hay and feeds; from this they produce their signature milk, cream and butters used to perfect the chocolate ganaches.

Buying Chocolates & Dairy During Your Visit

We warmly encourage all attendees to make their way through the small shop on-site. The retail location will be open to the public, and event attendees, from 10am-5pm. The store is quaint yet very popular, so we encourage our attendees to seize the chance at a visit during the event! Cash and credit cards are accepted. Please note that operations may not be allergen-free, so please speak with an employee in the retail store if needed. Unfortunately vendors, and the venue, are unable to store items needing refrigeration- so buy these items as you depart at the end of the event!

Parking & Accessibility

Due to the historic and authentic nature of this working farm and retail location, event parking will be on the East side of the dirt Town Hill Road leading to the venue. This vendor has experience in events with such parking. Please wear appropriate footwear! Due to the retail store being open, please refrain from occupying their small parking lot spaces directly in front of the barn/store- all event parking will be along the East side of Town Hill Road. Individuals requiring handicap accommodations will be able to be dropped off closer to the entrance in a dedicated parking spot only for the drop off and pick up of those individuals. Driver: Please park on road with other event attendees.
