Megan and Levi met by a series of fortunate happenstances that began in June of 2020, when Megan received a job offer to work for a federal Judge in city of Huntington, West Virginia. Without ever having been to West Virginia before, Megan accepted the job and drove down to the Mountain State in August of 2021. Meanwhile, Levi accepted a job as the head athletic trainer for Shawnee State University and moved to Portsmouth, OH. Anyone who has ever used a dating app can relate -- the experience can be discouraging and exhausting. In fact, Megan had downloaded the dating app Hinge, went on some very bad dates, and eventually deleted the app altogether, giving up. But, in the spirit of new beginnings, Megan downloaded the app in January of 2022 and received a message from Levi, who had tricked her into thinking he was from Boston. (Editor's Note: Levi did not trick Megan into thinking he was from Boston. His message clearly indicated that he was from Huntington, but Megan was very tired and misread it). Megan and Levi got to know each other for several weeks, and planned their first date for February 15, 2022 at the Black Sheep restaurant. They were essentially inseparable after that first date, and their respect and admiration for each other continued to grow as months went on. However, they both knew in the back of their minds that their time together had an expiration date. Megan's job as a clerk in Huntington was set to end in August 2022 and she got a new job back up in Boston which started in September. As the two spent their first summer together, the idea of what would come next lingered unresolved. Quite suddenly, August of 2022 came, and Megan had to move 800 miles away. But, while only together a short time, Levi and Megan knew that they had both found "the one." Levi began to look for jobs up in Boston. After spending the fall long-distance, he accepted a job at Suffolk University in Boston. Levi packed up all of his belongings, left everything he had even known, and drove up to Massachusetts with his uHaul on New Years Eve 2022. The pair has been living together with their two doggies Sophie and Riley in Needham, MA ever since. They are so excited to celebrate this chapter of their lives with all their guests on their wedding day!

AC Hotel Worcester

While we have booked a block of rooms at the AC Hotel Worcester, there are many hotels in the area and guests should feel free to book a room wherever they are comfortable.  Guests who plan to utilize the block rate at the AC Hotel Worcester MUST book their travel at least 30 days prior to the wedding weekend. After this time, the rooms will no longer be discounted.

Boston, Massachusetts

Boston is a wonderful, historic city full of fun things to do!&nbsp; Consider exploring the Freedom Trial, which begins at the historic Boston Common, travels through the famous Faneuil Hall Marketplace, and ends in the North End. The North End is home to incredible Italian restaurants and bakeries. We recommend Ernesto's Pizza, Bova's Bakery, and the Famiglia Giorgio!&nbsp; Beacon Hill and Newbury Street are famous for shopping and dining.&nbsp;Check out View Boston at the Prudential Center for views of the entire city! Contessa Boston is a hotspot restaurant on Newbury Street with great views of the city as well. Boston is home to world-class museums. The Isabella Stewart Gardner is one of Megan and Levi's favorites! The Museum of Fine Arts and the Museum of Science are also great options! Harvard University also has several museums that are open to the public for free. Sports fans can check out the historic Fenway Park baseball stadium and the TD Garden, home to the Celtics and Bruins. The minor league baseball team, the WooSox, may also have a game in late March. Traveling around Boston is relatively accessible with use of the T system, which is the city's subway system.
