High school sweethearts finally deciding to tie the knot! .

Extended version of our story because the one above was not good enough: 	It all began in September 2011, during their freshman year homeroom. Jack and Megan met, each admiring the other’s unique fashion sense, thanks to PACH’s school uniforms featuring brown chunky Eastlands, khaki pants, and polos. To add to the charm, Megan had scrunched Kool-Aid-dyed hair, while Jack sported the Justin Bieber skater hairstyle. As the freshman year flew by, Jack and Megan entertained “love” interests with others. Deep down, Jack harbored feelings for Megan from the very first day of homeroom, but he adamantly will deny it until the end of time. Megan, on the other hand, took a bit longer to reciprocate his feelings. For instance, she remained oblivious to Jack’s two-month absence due to a car accident during their freshman year. 	Fast forward to sophomore year. Jack and Megan were still in the same homeroom, but they had no classes together. It was through their shared group of friends that they truly began talking. One weekend, Jack impulsively messaged Megan on Facebook, inviting her to hang out. They agreed to meet at Wawa. Megan convinced her friend to join to get a f’real milkshake. Jack convinced her to order a peanut butter cup milkshake, but Megan is not a fan of peanut butter or chocolate, so maybe Megan was the one with secret feelings to willingly indulge in a flavor she had no interest in just because a boy suggested it. From that moment on, their conversations became more frequent, progressing from exchanging numbers to texting and even late-night phone calls whispered at bedtime. Jack took the chance and asked Megan out, via text message by the way, however, Megan played the hard to get game by avoiding the question multiple times. It wasn’t until about the 30th time Jack asked Megan to be his girlfriend she finally caved and agreed on February 21, 2013. 	Anyhow, post-school hangouts and dates to McDonald’s became a regular occurrence for a few months. Jack was the cool sophomore with a license and truck already, so an added bonus for Megan to have a ride home or to practice before he rushed home to try and cut a few lawns before the weekend rush. However, Megan’s parents became more aware of this GMC pickup truck arriving at their house, but unaware of the boy driving it. They declared that no more hangouts would be permitted until he personally met them. Jack was nervous but managed to charm his way through the first meeting with well-mannered behaviors, greeting them as Mr. and Mrs. Elmer. Shortly after, Megan was invited to meet Jack’s mom for a family taco dinner night, where she discovered that Linda loved to cook and would endlessly feed you with no limits. That night might have been the most tacos Megan had ever eaten because she didn’t know how to say no. 	Over the years, both families grew to love each other as if they were their own. They celebrated various milestones together, such as prom king and queen titles, the “most likely to stay together” yearbook superlative, high school graduation, Jack passing plumbing school, Megan’s undergraduate and master’s graduation from Elizabethtown college, Jack growing his successful tree and lawn care business, and now, their engagement phase. 	It’s been a long journey filled with many milestones shared together. But they aren’t stopping now; they are just beginning the next chapter of life, and they want to start it with all of their close family and friends there to celebrate. So get ready for one hell of a party!
