When should I RSVP?

If you are able to RSVP as soon as you receive your invitations, that would be extremely helpful! We ask that you RSVP before May 1st.

Can I bring a plus one?

We would love to keep our wedding as intimate as possible. If you received a plus one, it will be listed on your official invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP through the website. We appreciate your understanding.

How far away is the reception venue from the church?

The hotel is about ten minutes away from the church, but if you do not park in the parking garage, plan to add a little time to that to find parking nearby.

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 pm. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the ceremony to give yourself plenty of time to park and find a seat.

What's the dress code?

Semi-formal. Often called "dressy casual," think of this as between casual and formal. Options could include a suit with a jacket or a cocktail dress. You can find ideas here: https://www.theknot.com/content/what-to-wear-semi-formal

Will there be a seating chart for dinner?

Yes, but our goal is to seat family and friends with a mix of people they know and people we believe they would enjoy getting to know.

What are the dinner options?

Dinner will include a bistro chopped salad, fresh baked rolls, and butter. There will be two options for entrees: (1) Bourbon Glazed Chicken with Bourbon-Peach Glaze Chutney, Roasted Sweet and New Potatoes, and (2) Roasted Pork Tenderloin with Pork Tenderloin Medallions with Curry Cream Sauce and Rice Pilaf. Non-alcoholic drink options will include unsweetened ice tea, ice water, regular and decaffeinated coffee, and a selection of hot black and herbal teas.

How will dinner be served?

This will be a plated dinner, meaning that your chosen meal will be delivered to your seat. No need to wait in line!

Will there be alcohol?

Yes! There will be alcohol at the reception, beginning with a cocktail hour. An announcement will be made for last call towards the end of the evening.

Will there be dancing?

Yes! Please bring your dancing shoes, we would love to see you hit the dance floor. Expect a variety of different kinds of music and consider making a song request!
