Riley and Megan's love story begins in the midst of the events of the Camp Clark Raiders Muzzle Loader Club. They met though CCR when they were children. Together they grew up attending the shoots and camping at The Range for the semiannual Rendezvous with their families and friends.

Over the many years and CCR events, Riley and Megan became best friends during the years of middle school and high school. After growing up together, life took them on separate paths. Riley joined the Army and got stationed in Germany while Megan pursued college at the University of Colorado- CO Springs. Despite the miles between them, they always stayed in contact through letters while Riley was at basic training, many hours of face timing. and messaging each other.

As years passed, they continued to be each other's best friend. They went on road trips, traveled Europe together, and eventually fell in love. In October of 2023, they got engaged to be married. They will be getting married on April 20th, 2024. After they get married, they will be moving to Alaska for Riley's next duty station at Fort Wainwright.
